Centring Block Elements (Such as divs)
As I recently saw that some members of the class were still interested in learning how to do this, I thought I’d post this link. In Bite Sized Standards recently posted a small piece about how to centre block elements, and also provides techniques for older-browser (such as IE5) support.
Funny… we’ve used this exact solution for centering a fixed-width design – but I hadn’t thought of applying it to _any_ element on the page!
